Plan ahead
A move should be planned in good time to perfectly organize everything. In the course of time, you always remember something that you still need or have forgotten, so it is advisable to start with the first errands and work in good time before the moving date. But the first thing you should do is apply for relocation leave with your employer early on. Also, think about taking care of your children or pets on a moving day.
Start thinking about the process about 4 weeks before the move; you should have already procured the moving boxes and packing materials. It is also important to have enough large and small garbage bags as well as cleaning utensils. Pack your household goods room by room. Things you don't need for the time being can be packed first. Label all moving boxes clearly and legibly, preferably with the future room and contents.

For the refrigerator and freezer, make sure to empty them in time and defrost them shortly before the moving date.
